The Fresh Collective is looking for an experienced, hands-on Venue Supervisor to join our team at Strathfield Golf Club.With a primary focus on Bistro 18, this role will also oversee the day-to-day operation of the Club's Halfway Kiosk and provide support across functions and events as required.This is a great prospect for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the floor, developing a strong team and creating a genuinely welcoming experience for Club members and guests.The RoleWorking closely with the Venue Manager, you'll be a visible and hands-on part of the operation, taking ownership of service during your allocated shifts and leading the team from the floor.Your responsibilities will include:Leading Bistro service and maintaining a strong, hands-on presence on the floorSupervising, coaching and supporting the front-of-house team throughout serviceRunning pre-service briefings and allocating sections, duties and breaksEnsuring Bistro 18 is fully prepared for service, from opening through to closeOverseeing the day-to-day operation and presentation of the Halfway KioskManaging bookings and large groups and maintaining clear communication with the kitchenMonitoring service flow, food wait times and guest feedback, stepping in early when issues ariseBuilding positive relationships with Club members, regulars and guestsCreating a warm, welcoming environment and confidently handling guest enquiries and feedbackDeveloping strong menu and product knowledge within the team and encouraging genuine, thoughtful upsellingMaintaining high standards of presentation,



cleanliness, food safety and responsible service of alcoholSupporting functions and events as requiredAssisting with stock, POS, cash-up and other operational duties as requiredWhat we're looking forWe're looking for a natural hospitality leader who enjoys being part of the service and setting the standard from the floor.A genuinely hands-on approach to leadership and serviceA confident, calm and practical leadership styleStrong communication, customer service and problem-solving skillsThe ability to organise, motivate and support a team through busy service periodsStrong food and beverage knowledge and a genuine passion for hospitalityAn understanding of the importance of regular guests and building relationships within a Club environmentThe ability to think ahead, identify issues and keep service moving smoothlyA valid RSA certificateFormal hospitality and coffee training will be highly regardedAvailability to work a rotating roster across day and evening shifts, Monday to SundayWhat's in it for you?
