Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) TechnicianCentral Coast, NSWPart Time, ***** hours per week (Monday, Thursday, Friday)Remuneration under the applicable enterprise agreement, based on skills and experienceOur client is looking to hire a Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician to join the cardiac catheterisation laboratory team, supporting a complex electrophysiology list on a permanent part time basis.About the FacilityA large private hospital on the NSW Central Coast, with two cardiac catheterisation laboratories, nine operating theatres and a dedicated heart centre providing diagnostic and interventional cardiac care to the region.
The electrophysiology list runs three days a week, with no on-call requirement outside rostered days.The RoleYou will provide specialised technical support across a busy EP list, preparing laboratories and equipment, operating recording and mapping systems, and supporting electrophysiologists through diagnostic studies and ablation procedures.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing electrophysiology laboratories for procedures, ensuring equipment is functional and calibratedOperating and maintaining EP recording systems and haemodynamic monitoring equipmentSupporting electrophysiologists during diagnostic EP studies and ablation procedures (radiofrequency, pulsed field and cryoablation, SVT/VT, AF/PVI,



atrial flutter and PVC ablation)Acquiring, analysing and interpreting intracardiac electrograms under physician directionMaintaining inventory of procedural equipment, catheters and consumablesComplying with infection control and radiation safety standardsContributing to quality improvement, audits and accreditation activitiesWhat You Will Need:Bachelor of Science or equivalent, with cardiac EP technician experienceDemonstrated experience in a cardiac catheterisation laboratory, EP laboratory or cardiac device serviceCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationExperience with EP recording/mapping systems (e.g. CARTO, EnSite, Rhythmia) is highly regarded but not essential - full training providedStrong technical troubleshooting, communication and documentation skillsAbility to perform effectively under pressure in a complex procedural environmentUnrestricted right to work in AustraliaWhat Is On Offer:Part time, ***** hours per week across Monday, Thursday and FridayNo on-call commitmentRemuneration under the enterprise agreement, according to experienceAccess to a well-equipped cardiac catheterisation service supporting a complex EP caseloadA supportive, multidisciplinary cardiac team
