The Alarms Corporation are seeking a confident and knowledgeable Security Technician to join our staff on a full-time basis, overseeing the installation and servicing of a wide range of systems throughout Melbourne and Victoria.

You'll also have the opportunity to work with the latest security technology while continuing to develop your skills.We'd love to hear from you if you have:Security industry experienceA friendly attitude and strong communication skillsCurrent security, cabling and full driver licensesExperience with a range of commercial security systemsGood CCTV installation and servicing experienceWhat you'll be doing:Running and fitting off cabling for security systemsInstalling CCTV, alarms, intercoms, access control systems and networking equipmentBuilding and neatly dressing equipment racks in our workshopSet up alarm monitoring servicesTesting, commissioning and troubleshooting systemsUnderstand,



read and interpret building plansCompleting service and aftercare visits for existing clientsWhat we're looking for:Practical experience in security systems integrationExperience with Inner Range, Tecom, Bosch, DAS (Hills) and Honeywell (Vista) is desirableExperience with Hanwha, Dahua and HIK CCTV systems is desirablePride in producing clean, tidy cabling and high-quality workmanshipA good understanding of IP networks, including addressing, switches, and basic troubleshootingConfidence working with builders, other trades and clientsA reliable, friendly attitude and the ability to see each job throughA current driver license and Safety Induction CardWhy Join us?
