Core Talent is working with a leading WA contractor delivering civil and multidisciplinary projects across Western Australia.
Due to continued project demand, they are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their project delivery team.This is an exciting prospect for an experienced Project Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of civil and multidisciplinary projects.
You will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of projects from implementation through to handover, working closely with the Project Manager, Supervisor, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Key responsibilities will include:Coordinating day-to-day project and site activitiesPlanning and forecasting project activities and resourcesManaging project schedules, sequencing and reportingCoordinating subcontractors, suppliers and project resourcesSupporting procurement, tendering, estimating and bidding activitiesManaging project quality documentation including ITPs, RFIs, NCRs and methodologiesSupporting HSEQ requirements including SWMS, pre-starts, toolbox meetings and risk assessmentsAssisting with cost control, forecasting, take-offs and BOQsManaging variations,
claims and EOTsCoordinating design reviews and engineering plansDeveloping practical engineering solutions to support project deliverySupporting commissioning and project handover activitiesProviding project updates and correspondence to key stakeholdersIdentifying and resolving project issues to maintain programme and delivery requirementsWe're Looking ForDegree qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management3+ years' site/construction experienceDemonstrated experience working in a Project Engineer roleExperience across civil and/or mechanical projectsPrevious commissioning experienceStrong understanding of construction processes and project deliveryAbility to read and interpret engineering plans and drawingsProficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and MS ProjectAutoCAD, Revit or SketchUp experience will be highly regardedStrong communication, organisational and problem-solving skillsConstruction White CardC Class Driver's LicenceWhat's on OfferPermanent opportunity with a growing WA contractorOpportunity to work across civil and multidisciplinary projectsInvolvement across the full project lifecycleStrong opportunity for career development and progressionWork alongside an experienced project delivery team
