An exciting opportunity for an experienced WHS Manager to join a well-established Tier 2 head contractor delivering large-scale and complex construction projects across the commercial, health and education sectors.This is a chance for a hands-on, relationship-driven WHS professional who can operate at both a strategic and project level.
You'll play a key role in shaping and implementing WHS strategy, systems and processes while working closely with project teams, senior leadership, clients and key stakeholders.The RoleAs WHS Manager, you will be responsible for driving a proactive safety culture across major projects and ensuring WHS systems and practices are effectively embedded throughout the business.Key responsibilities will include:Develop, implement and continually improve WHS strategies, systems and processes.Provide strategic WHS leadership across major construction projectsPartner closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and senior leadership to drive safety outcomesEnsure compliance with WHS legislation, company policies and project requirementsIdentify and manage project risks, providing practical and commercially focused solutionsConduct audits, inspections, investigations and risk assessmentsDrive continuous improvement initiatives and embed best-practice safety systemsBuild strong relationships with clients, consultants,



subcontractors and internal stakeholdersSupport project teams in achieving safety objectives while maintaining project delivery outcomesProvide regular WHS reporting, insights and recommendations to senior managementAbout YouWe are looking for a WHS professional who brings strong construction experience and the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.Ideally, you will have:Minimum 5-7 years in a Senior HSE role or currently in a WHS Management roleExperience working on large-scale Health, Education or Commercial projects.Experience within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 head contractor environment.Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, construction risk management and safety systems.Demonstrated experience implementing WHS strategies, systems and processes.Previous experience managing, mentoring or leading WHS professionals.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.A relationship-driven approach, with the ability to influence rather than simply enforce.Solid commercial awareness and an understanding of the pressures associated with major project delivery.The ability to operate strategically while remaining close to project teams and site operations.Why Join?
