We are seeking a candidate to join our Mercer Financial Advice team at Mercer in the Team Leader – Intra fund Financial Advice role.
This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.Team Leader Intra- fund Financial AdviceAbout the roleMercer Financial Advice is seeking an experienced and motivated leader to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney.
This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work in the office at least three days per week.This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team within a business that plays a vital role in delivering quality advice and better outcomes for Mercer Super members.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your management skills, influence service delivery, strengthen key stakeholder relationships, and contribute to Mercer's broader **** strategy while continuing to grow and develop within a global organisation.You will lead the Intrafund Advice team with a strong focus on advice quality, member outcomes, service delivery and continuous improvement, while helping to strengthen our ongoing trustee relationship.About the teamMercer Financial Advice provides intrafund advice via phone, along with triage and guidance support for Mercer Super members.This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on supporting both members and colleagues.What you will doLead a team of financial advisers and triage staff to deliver client, service and performance outcomesSet clear goals and KPI measures, including call volumes, advice engagements, SOA turnaround times and scorecard outcomesCoach, mentor and develop team members to build capability, support performance and encourage career progressionOversee day-to-day operations, resource allocation, reporting standards and workflow managementMaintain high advice quality through call listening, peer review,



oversight and compliance with advice standardsBuild effective relationships with trustees, stakeholders and client managers to support service delivery and business growthProactively identify opportunities to improve member experience, advice processes and team efficiencyProvide monthly reporting and data insights, including the use of Qlik and related toolsWhat you need to bringDemonstrated leadership experience in a financial advice environmentExperience delivering advice, with intrafund experience preferredStrong coaching and mentoring capabilityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsTechnical proficiency in financial advice and a sound understanding of advice operationsExperience managing client, trustee, stakeholder or referral relationshipsA strong focus on service quality, continuous improvement and risk awarenessWhat will help you stand outExperience leading teams delivering intra-fund or superannuation adviceExperience improving advice quality, service standards or team performanceExposure to advice platforms and CRM tools such as Midwinter and SalesforceTertiary qualifications in business, commerce, economics, financial planning, communications or marketingCompletion of the education and registration requirements to maintain an AR and ASIC registration, including FASEA where applicableWhy join MercerWe help you be your best through professional development opportunities,
