The successful candidate will be a visible, practical leader who can keep jobs moving, solve problems early and ensure commitments to clients and the team are consistently delivered.Working closely with the business owners, operations and sales team, the Production Manager will oversee production from job handover through to delivery and installation—balancing quality, deadlines, materials, people and profitability.The opportunityThe Production Manager will lead daily production operations across signage, POS and print, ensuring work is planned efficiently, produced to a high standard and delivered on time.This role suits someone with a strong production background who enjoys leading from the front, creating structure in a busy workplace and building a motivated, accountable team culture.Key responsibilities include:Managing day-to-day production across signage, POS, large-format print and related finishing requirementsPlanning production schedules, allocating labour and prioritising jobs to meet client deadlinesLeading, motivating and developing the production teamEnsuring jobs are produced accurately,



efficiently and to the required quality standardReviewing job specifications, artwork, materials and production requirements before work commencesCoordinating closely with sales, design, suppliers, installers and external contractorsIdentifying production risks early and communicating practical solutions clearly and promptlyManaging stock, materials, purchasing and supplier relationshipsMonitoring workflow, labour, wastage and production costs to support profitable outcomesMaintaining equipment, workplace safety and housekeeping standardsDriving continuous improvement across systems, processes, quality and delivery performanceCreating a positive, energetic and accountable production cultureAbout youProven experience in a Production Manager, Production Supervisor or similar role within signage, print, POS, display or a related industryStrong knowledge of print and signage production processes, materials, finishing and installation requirementsDemonstrated experience managing multiple jobs, competing deadlines and a busy production scheduleA practical, hands‐on leadership style with the confidence to make decisions and take ownershipThe ability to lead by example, follow through on commitments and hold others accountableStrong communication and problem‐solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to qualitySound commercial awareness, including labour, materials, margins and production efficiencyExperience working with production systems, job‐tracking software or ERP platformsA calm, organised approach and the energy to keep a busy operation moving forwardThe salary will be commensurate with experience.
