We invest heavily in our people through structured onboarding, ongoing coaching and genuine opportunities to develop.We're now looking for a Workforce Development Manager who can build strong relationships, create opportunities and turn those opportunities into real, measurable results.The roleThis is a relationship-led business development role focused on growing Insight's presence, partnerships and enrolments across Western Australia.You'll work with employers, industry, employment service providers, community organisations and other key stakeholders to understand their workforce needs and connect them with the right training solutions.This isn't a role where you'll sit back and wait for opportunities to land in your inbox.
You'll be expected to build your own network, manage your own pipeline and consistently generate new business.You'll be responsible for:Developing new employer, industry and community partnershipsIdentifying workforce needs and recommending suitable training solutionsProactively generating leads, referrals and enrolment opportunitiesManaging relationships from initial contact through to ongoing partnershipPreparing clear, accurate proposals and partnership agreementsMeeting individual enrolment, activity and revenue targetsRepresenting Insight at meetings, networking events and industry functionsMaintaining accurate CRM records, documentation and follow-up activityWorking closely with our sales,
training and operational teams to deliver strong outcomesAbout youYou don't need to come directly from the education or training sector, but you do need proven experience in business development, partnerships, account management or consultative sales.You'll know how to start conversations, uncover genuine needs and build trust with a wide range of people.
Just as importantly, you'll understand that solid relationships still need to produce outcomes.We're looking for someone who:Has a demonstrated ability to generate and convert new businessBuilds credible, long-term professional relationshipsIs confident approaching new organisations and initiating conversationsCan work autonomously without needing to be constantly followed upIs commercially aware and genuinely motivated by resultsManages their pipeline, priorities and follow-up consistentlyCommunicates clearly and represents the business professionallyTakes ownership when something needs to be resolvedKeeps accurate records and understands that compliance mattersExperience within the RTO, VET, employment services or workforce development sectors would be valuable, but it isn't essential.
Experience using systems such as HubSpot or VETtrak advantageous.Why Insight?
