This is a full time position that offers a strategic prospect to make a significant impact on financial planning, analysis, decision making processes and business growth.As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting owners and senior management across the organisation by providing insightful financial information, budgeting expertise, and performance analysis.
This position is essential to our operational success and will involve working closely with various departments to drive financial efficiency and strategic growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and monitor budgets and financial forecasts across multiple departments and business unitsPrepare and distribute weekly departmental P&L; reports across all 3 entities and their departments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for operational decision-makingAnalyse weekly trading results against budget/forecast, identifying variances and flagging risks or opportunities to department managersPartner with department managers to interpret P&L; results and drive corrective action where performance tracks off planAnalyse cost of goods sold (COGS) trends by department,



identifying margin risks and opportunities, and negotiate improved pricing and terms with suppliersSupporting budgeting, forecasting, P&L; and KPI reporting to guide business strategyMaintain strong financial controls, policies and procedures across the businessPrepare comprehensive financial reports and management accounts, including variance analysis and performance metricsConduct cost analysis and provide recommendations to optimise operational efficiency and reduce expenditureSupport the finance team in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessAnalyse financial data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and strategic decision-makingLiaise with operational managers to gather financial information and provide tailored reporting solutionsMaintain and improve financial planning and analysis systems and processesAssist with the implementation of new accounting systems and improvements to financial controlsProvide ad hoc financial analysis and support to senior management on business initiatives and projectsWhat We're Looking ForProfessional accounting qualification such as CPA, or CA (or equivalent and relevant experience)5+ years of experience in a management accounting or similar financial analysis roleStrong proficiency in Xero and experience with financial management systems and accounting softwareDemonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modellingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial dataStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholdersAttention to detail and high standards of accuracy in financial workAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamKnowledge of business process improvement and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience in a fast-paced, dynamic business environmentExcellent leadership and people skillsWhat can I earn as a Management Accountant
