The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our Direk team.

This is more than a parts role.
You'll be a critical link between customers, suppliers, and our workshop team, helping reduce downtime and ensuring our trailers and transport equipment remain on the road where they belong.
What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of the Freighter Group team, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting workshop operations and delivering exceptional service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Interpreting and identifying parts requirements for technicians, fleet operators, and customers
Sourcing parts through internal inventory and external supplier networks
Managing inventory and workshop stock levels to ensure parts availability
Processing orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail




Building relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Coordinating parts deliveries and ensuring supply to support workshop
Maintaining a safe, organised, and compliant work environment
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who combines technical knowledge with a genuine passion for customer service.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter within heavy vehicles, transport, trailers, agricultural, automotive, or related industries
Solid product knowledge and the ability to accurately identify parts and components
Excellent communication
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Experience working with inventory management systems
A current Forklift Licence (highly regarded)
