Community Wastewater Management System (CWMS) Operator
Wakefield Regional Councilare seeking a passionate CWMS Operator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.
As we bring CWMS operations back in house, this newly created role offers a unique opportunity to be part of establishing and strengthening the essential wastewater services across our region for the future.
As part of our hardworking and friendly team, you'll be involved in the operation, maintenance and improvement of Council's CWMS, including wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and network infrastructure.
As a CWMS Operator, you will undertake hands-on operational and maintenance work including inspections, repairs, monitoring system performance and maintaining records.

To Be Successful, You'll Need:
· A current South Australian driver's licence
· A positive and proactive approach
· Ability to work well within a team
· Strong communication and organisational skills
· Commitment to WHS and risk management
The following will be highly regarded:
· Experience in wastewater, utilities or infrastructure maintenance
· Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (Wastewater Treatment) or equivalent
Special Conditions:
· National Police Clearance required prior to commencement
· Hepatitis B and Tetanus vaccinations required
· Participation in an on-call roster
