We have a growing presence in cyber, space and nuclear programs.Tell me about this role:As the Product Management Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting the introduction into service and sustainment of Defence Battle Management System capability.
Working within a highly complex Defence environment, you will lead supply and training support streams while coordinating stakeholders across Defence, industry and support agencies to ensure sustainment readiness and operational success.This is an opportunity to influence the establishment of a new Sustainment Management Unit, providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) expertise, governance oversight and product support integration across the Commonwealth enterprise.

reporting and assurance processes to support sustainment readiness and program performanceSupport the establishment and ongoing operation of the Sustainment Management UnitCoordinate Government Furnished Equipment (GFX) sustainment readiness activitiesAssist with planning and implementation of support system interfaces for end users, including procedures and operational documentationCoordinate Logistics Information System administration requirements, including ERP readiness activitiesIdentify, assess and manage program risks, issues and opportunities while recommending mitigation strategiesParticipate in program meetings, integrated project teams and working groups supporting transition to serviceTertiary qualification in Engineering or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience working in complex acquisition, sustainment or Defence environmentsStrong knowledge of Defence Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or Integrated Product Support (IPS) principlesProven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across government, Defence and industry organisationsExperience managing governance, assurance and reporting activitiesAbility to identify risks and develop practical mitigation strategiesNV1 Security Clearance (minimum) and eligibility to access US Export Controlled (ITAR) informationFlexibility - We like our employees to have the flexibility they need to live the lives they choose.
