We are looking for a friendly and reliable Café / Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Mount Waverley.
The role involves assisting with food preparation, meal and beverage service, cleaning and general kitchen duties while providing a welcoming experience for our clients.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment, preparing and serving food, and interacting with older people and members of the Polish community.About the roleAs a Café / Kitchen Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operation of our kitchen and café, helping to ensure meals and refreshments are prepared and served to a high standard.Your duties will include:Assisting with food preparation and basic cookingPreparing and serving meals, snacks, tea and coffeeSetting up and clearing tablesWashing dishes and maintaining clean kitchen equipmentCleaning and maintaining the kitchen, café and food preparation areasAssisting with receiving, storing and rotating food suppliesFollowing food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety proceduresAssisting with catering for meetings, activities and community eventsSupporting the kitchen team with general duties as requiredProviding friendly and respectful service to clients, visitors and staffAbout youWe are looking for someone who is:Reliable,
