Management Accountant | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Powering business performance through financial insight, control, and innovation.About The OpportunityAs a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in driving financial control, reporting excellence, and business performance insights across the organisation.
You will partner closely with the Finance Business Partner and wider finance teams to support strategic decision-making while ensuring strong financial governance and process discipline.
This is a hands‐on prospect where you'll combine technical accounting expertise with commercial thinking, helping to improve systems, reporting, and processes that support sustainable business growth.
You'll have the opportunity to influence outcomes, contribute to key projects, and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and evolving environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyse weekly cashflow forecastsPrepare and analyse monthly balance sheet reconciliationsDevelop and maintain Standard Operating ProceduresReview, understand, and enhance monthly accounting processesCreate and improve financial reporting, systems, and processesSupport budgeting and forecasting processes across the businessSupport annual audit requirements, including preparation of workpapersDrive continuous process improvement initiatives aligned with best practiceBuild strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersContribute to key business improvement and change management initiativesComplete month-end accounting activities including reconciliations, journal postings, and invoicingProduce and analyse monthly management reports, tracking financial and non-financial performance against KPIs, budgets, forecasts,
