Are you an experienced Panel Wirer looking for a hands‐on role where you can see a machine built from start to finish?
We are recruiting for a skilled Panel Wirer / Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing business specialising in the build of bespoke industrial machinery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working from electrical drawings, wiring schematics and visual assembly instructions, taking ownership of both panel wiring and machine build activities.The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in the assembly and manufacture of specialist machinery, with a primary focus on control panel wiring, electrical installation and machine assembly.Key responsibilities include:Control panel assembly and wiring from electrical drawings and schematicsWiring machinery and associated equipmentReading and interpreting technical drawings,



wiring diagrams and visual work instructionsMechanical assembly and fitting of machine components and sub-assembliesInstallation of pneumatic components and systemsTesting completed assemblies using provided proceduresCarrying out self‐inspection and quality checksSupporting continuous improvement activities within productionMaintaining high standards of housekeeping and workshop organisationAssisting with spares orders, packing and other production‐related activities when requiredWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience as a Panel Wirer, Control Panel Wireman, Electrical Assembly Technician or similarAbility to read and work from electrical drawings and wiring schematicsExperience wiring control panels to a high standardStrong electro‐mechanical assembly skillsMechanical fitting and machine build experienceKnowledge of industrial electrical assembly best practicesExperience with pneumatic installations would be advantageous (training can be provided)Good attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesirableForklift Truck LicencePrevious experience building special purpose machinery or industrial equipmentWhat's On Offer?
