Mechanical Mobile Service Technician

Attending customer sites to service and repair a range of mechanical processing equipment.
n
Provide detailed and accurate reports on the condition of the customers' equipment, following onsite machine examinations.
n
To investigate / identify machine problems in an emergency breakdown situation.
n
Identify situations whilst on site, where productivity or efficiency improvements to equipment can be recommended to the customer
n
Full training will be provided to understand company equipment and training courses paid for by the company.
n

Essential Requirements
n
n
Solid mechanical background, qualifications not essential but good mechanical problem solving mindset.
n
Full Driving License.
n
Ability to work as part of a team.
n
Good communication skills,



both customer facing and with internal / external staff.
n
Flexible working approach, which will include some weekend and unsociable working hours along with some overnight stays.
n
Average working week 50 to 60 hrs with travel time, overseas work in Ireland required.
n
n
Package

Contracted hours are 40 hours. 8am to 4-30pm
n
22 days holiday + bank holidays paid.
n
Van provided + fuel card
n
Out of hours working including out of hrs travel are paid at time and 1/3rd.
n
Saturday working is paid at time and 1/3rd all day. (none working Sundays)
n
Expenses = hotels, breakfast allowance, lunch allowance and evening meal allowance dependent on arrival home time, a standard for overnight.
n
Government backed Pension is provided.
n
Van for company use with fuel card.
n
All tools required and PPE are provided.
n
All certification courses for protected working are provided eg FLT/IPAF/Confined space.
