We are looking for a Analyst Level I in AUS.
Your mission will be to:
Reporting to the Microbiology Media Team Leader, theincumbent is responsible for performing routine microbiology laboratory supporttasks in Media Preparation laboratory.
The role supports the accurate andtimely processing of samples by assisting with media preparation and basiclaboratory preparation activities in accordance with established quality,safety, and regulatorystandards.Prepare,dispense,and cap media, including autoclaving andsterilisationprocedures.Receiveandregister client samples, ensuring accurate documentation, correctlabelling, and compliance with laboratory procedures andqualitystandards.Receive,weigh,and prepare samples fortesting.Performbasicmicrobiological tasks under supervision, including printing labelsfrom LabWare, using glass pipettes, operating balances for weighing andcalculations, preparing working solutions, measuring pH, performingaseptic techniques, adding media to samples, incubating samples, andpouringplates.Followlaboratorymethods, SOPs, and safetyprocedures.Contributetolaboratory qualityobjectives.Maintainaclean, safe,



and fit-for-purpose laboratoryenvironment.Uselaboratoryinformation management systems to record and trackdataaccurately.Assistinthe setup and preparation of media preparation and otherlaboratoryactivities.Worksafelyat all times in accordance with WHS and biosecurityrequirements.Performotherduties as reasonablydirected.Candidate:Tertiaryqualificationin Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences orequivalentdiscipline(essential).
Hands-onexperience in a fast-paced laboratory environment(desirable).
Abilitytoprioritise tasks to meet daily deadlines.Quality-focusedwith strong attention to detailskills.Clearwrittenand verbal communication, ensuring clarity, professionalism, andeffectiveness in all interactions with internal teams.Abilityto work collaboratively within a teamenvironment.Demonstratedunderstandingof WHS requirements within a laboratoryenvironment.Continuousimprovementmindset with the ability to identify and enhance internalprocesses.

Tertiaryqualificationin Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences orequivalentdiscipline(essential).
