Senior Finance Manager
n
An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Manager to join a values-driven, not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to delivering exceptional care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of its residents.
n
Reporting to the Executive Manager, the role will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, audit, payroll and transactional finance functions, while providing financial insights and reporting to the Board.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Leading the preparation of monthly financial reports, Board reports and management accounts
n
Managing budgets, forecasts and financial modelling
n
Overseeing payroll governance, superannuation, taxation and statutory reporting
n
Managing cash flow, internal controls and financial compliance
n
Supporting Residential Aged Care resident financial transactions
n
Leading the annual audit process and external reporting obligations
n
Providing financial advice to the CEO, Executive Team and department managers
n
Leading a small, experienced finance and administration team
n
Driving continuous improvement across finance systems and processes.
n

Requirements
n
n




Tertiary qualification in Accounting
n
Membership of a recognised professional accounting body (CPA/CA).
n
Demonstrated experience in financial management, accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
n
Strong technical accounting and financial management skills.
n
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
n
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
n
Experience using Inerva software
n
Experience in the healthcare, aged care, or community health sector.
n
Knowledge of healthcare funding models, regulatory requirements, and compliance reporting.
n
Experience working within a complex, government-funded environment.
