You'll need to be based in Melbourne and have Australian work rights.

What you'll do
n
n
Lead complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, performance issues, terminations and day-to-day manager guidance.
n
Spot employee relations risks and patterns, then turn them into practical advice for senior leaders.
n
Own office health and safety practices, including ergonomics, safety standards, incident reporting and follow-up.
n
Keep workplace compliance on track across regions, covering safety, anti-fraud, AML, privacy and confidentiality obligations.
n
Build and deliver learning and development initiatives and scalable training frameworks, while coaching managers through difficult people situations.
n
Support the broader P&C; operation with recruitment activity, talent mapping,
HRIS and payroll data accuracy, employee experience work and people reporting.
n

Who we're looking for
n
You'll likely be a hands-on P&C; generalist who is comfortable in the detail, trusted in tougher conversations and able to work independently without needing a large team around you.
n
Must-haves:
n
n
Around 3-5 years of HR or People & Culture experience, including at least 1-2 years operating at Manager level or with equivalent ownership of day-to-day people matters.
n
Strong generalist HR/P&C; capability with clear depth in employee relations.
n
Confidence leading investigations, performance management, disciplinary and termination processes, and coaching managers through those conversations.
n
Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment where you've covered a broad remit across ER, development, compliance and hiring support.
n
Experience delivering training or capability-building initiatives, with the detail orientation to stay on top of compliance, safety and people data.
n

Nice-to-haves:

Experience in a regulated environment where privacy, AML, fraud or safety obligations matter.
n
Exposure to supporting leaders or employees across APAC or multiple regions.
n
Experience building frameworks or people processes that can scale as a business grows.
