Job profile summary
Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass productionof goods including:
Designing arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure most efficient and productive layout
Designing thesequence of production operations, specifying procedures for the fabrication of applicable tools and equipment, and adapting machinery in response to factory conditions
Conducting tests throughout all stages of production todeterminecontrol over applicable variables and troubleshooting/solving production problems
Providing guidanceand inputsto product design engineering on technical specifications that will bestutilizeequipment and manufacturing techniques.
Ensuring that production processes and proceduresare in compliance withregulations.
Responsible for supporting optical assembly processes, including properhandlingandcleaning techniquesof optical components tomaintainhigh-quality standards.
The role requires familiarity with optical adhesives anda basicunderstanding of bonding chemistry to ensure effective and reliable assembly.
Knowledge of optical systems, optical measurements and optical system performance.
Requires understanding of compliance, pharmaceutical, biological, biochemical,
medical,patentand commercial factors.
Make recommendations concerning acquisition and use of current technological equipment and materials; develop and inform new product design or current product upgrades to ensure manufacturability and assembly; support investigations by providing technical reports for use by regulatory agencies/bodies.
Min bachelor's degree in engineering, automation ect related discipline
5-10 years NPI engineer, process engineer experience in MTO, prefer in start-ups, relevant experience in highly regulated industry with complex product lines. Optics most preferred.
Strong Mechanical, chemical, process, optics background, with strong problem-solving skills.
