API Landscapes is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Landscape Apprentice to join our growing team in Western Sydney . This is a full-time apprenticeship prospect where you will work alongside experienced landscape professionals, developing practical skills and knowledge in all aspects of landscape construction. You will play a vital role in helping us deliver high-quality landscaping projects to our clients whilst building a rewarding career in the trades. This hands‐on position offers genuine exposure to every facet of the landscaping industry, from site preparation and plant selection to hardscaping and machine operating

What you'll be doing
n
Assisting with landscape design implementation and site preparation
n
Planting trees, shrubs and gardens under supervision and guidance
n
Installing hardscaping features including concrete , retaining walls, paving, decking/pergolas, pool surrounds and garden structures
n
Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and machinery safely and effectively
n
Preparing and maintaining tools and equipment at the end of each working day
n
Tidying worksites and ensuring all materials are properly stored
n
Supporting senior team members on various landscaping projects
n
Learning about plant varieties, soil preparation and garden maintenance techniques
n
Following health and safety protocols and best practice procedures on all sites
n
Contributing to maintaining a professional and safe working environment
n
What we're looking for

A passion for outdoor work and the landscaping industry
n




Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour
n
Willingness to learn and develop new skills in the trades
n
A positive attitude, reliability and commitment to completing tasks
n
Reliable and punctual
n
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
n
A current, valid driver's license and own transport is required
n
Ability to work safely and follow all health and safety requirements
n
No prior experience necessary – full training will be provided
n
A genuine interest in plants, gardens and outdoor environments is valued
n
