About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced National Fire Compliance Manager to lead the fire protection compliance program across a major portfolio.
n
As the technical authority for fire compliance, you will be responsible for ensuring all wet and dry fire systems are inspected, tested, certified, and maintained in accordance with AS **** and related Australian Standards. You will oversee compliance governance, certification standards, auditing programs, and the quality of work delivered by both internal teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and manage the national fire compliance program across all sites within the portfolio
n
Maintain compliance schedules to ensure all inspections, testing, certifications, and statutory obligations are completed on time.
n
Verify and maintain accurate asset registers, system records,
and compliance documentation.
n
Conduct inspections, testing, and certification activities in line with your accreditation and qualifications.
n
Oversee certification authority across the business, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
n
Perform field audits and compliance reviews of both Modus technicians and subcontractor works.
n
Escalate critical life-safety risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.
n
Manage the fire compliance budget, including labour, subcontractor costs, equipment, and resources.

About You
n
n
Current FPA Australia FPAS Accreditation relevant to the systems under management (mandatory).
n
Significant experience in fire compliance, inspection, testing, and certification.
n
Strong knowledge of AS **** and associated Australian Standards.
n
Experience managing subcontractors, audits, and compliance programs.
n
Current Driver's Licence and White Card.
n
Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications (desirable).
n
Certificate IV or Diploma in Fire Protection, Fire Systems Design, Building Surveying, or Fire Safety (desirable).
