Warehouse Staff (Bilingual English & Chinese)

Rockman Australia is one of the largest importers, wholesalers and distributors of Asian food products with a 30-year plus history in Australia. We import a wide range of Asian food and beverages from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore, and exclusively represent over 40 well-known brands.

We require a motivated and committed individual with a good attitude and the ability to follow the direction of the Warehouse Manager. Willing to start and train a young person with the right attitude, 2 years experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager you will be a trustworthy, energetic and fit individual willing to take ownership of your day-to-day activities in the warehousing functions as well as assisting the team where required.

Key Responsibilities
n
Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
n
Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
n
Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
n




Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
n
Maintains secure and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
n
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
n
Completes deliveries by driving van to and from vendors.
n
Critical skills to the role
n
2 years experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred
n
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.)
n
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
n
High quality standards and safety mind-set
n
Organized, thorough, accurate with eye for detail
n
Great Reporting Skills, and Data Entry Skills
n
Ability to work in a fast paced and high-volume environment
n
Capable of working independently as well as a team
n
Ability to follow direction and show initiative and commitment
n
Forklift ticket is desirable
n
Able to read, write and speak Cantonese or Mandarin
