The Opportunity
n
This is an exciting chance for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a high-growth, global software business during an important period of payroll transformation.
n
The organisation currently operates across multiple entities, with payroll processes managed through a combination of legacy systems, offshore support and varying approaches across individual operating companies. This newly created role will take ownership of payroll across ANZ, with a key focus on consistency, compliance, process improvement and scalability.
n
Supporting approximately 650 employees across Australia and New Zealand, you will become the key payroll contact for the region.
n
The Challenge
n
Reporting to the regional Australian Finance team, with a dotted line to the global Payroll Lead, your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Overseeing payroll activities across multiple entities, pay cycles, frequencies and systems.
n
Acting as the go‐to payroll specialist for ANZ, providing guidance across payroll compliance, superannuation, taxation and governance.
n
Reviewing and standardising existing payroll processes to improve consistency, accuracy and scalability.
n
Supporting the transition to a more structured outsourced payroll model.
n
Contributing to payroll systems and transformation projects.
n
Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation and stronger payroll controls.
n
Supporting the continued growth of the business, including potential expansion into Asia.

The Expertise
n
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
n
n
5+ years of hands‐on Australian payroll processing experience, ideally across a multi‐entity or complex payroll environment.
n
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation, taxation and compliance requirements.
n
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements and standardisation.
n
Experience working across multiple payroll systems, with exposure to Xero, ADP or other cloud‐based payroll platforms advantageous.
n
Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of payroll across a region, while collaborating with global stakeholders.
n
A proactive, solutions‐focused approach and an interest in payroll transformation, outsourcing and scalable processes.
