FCM Meetings & Events (M&E;) is embarking on one of its most ambitious global transformation programmes - The M&E; Single Operating Model (SOM). This multi-market initiative will introduce a consistent technology and process framework across our global business, enabling greater efficiency, scalability and collaboration.
n
Working closely with regional finance teams, corporate stakeholders and external partners, you'll bring structure to complex initiatives and ensure our finance solutions are practical, sustainable and aligned to business needs.
n
This 18 month contract can be based in Australia, the UK or Europe, this role requires flexibility to support a global team and occasional domestic and international travel.

Day to day you'll be...
n
n
Lead finance transformation workstreams within the M&E; Single Operating Model programme, including process standardisation, system implementation and operating model changes.
n
Develop and manage project plans, tracking milestones, risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes across global markets.
n
Partner with Finance Systems, Technology, Product teams and external vendors to support successful system rollouts, integrations and data migrations.
n
Review and redesign finance processes, identifying opportunities for standardisation, automation and continuous improvement.
n
Support finance solution design, including workflows, tax configuration, reconciliation processes and GL structures ahead of market go-lives.
n
Build business cases, reporting dashboards and insights to track transformation progress, perks and adoption.
n
Coordinate stakeholder engagement, communications and change activities to support successful implementation.
n




Act as a key connection point between regional finance teams, corporate stakeholders and external partners to drive collaboration and delivery.

We'd love to hear from you if you have...
n
n
3–5 years' experience in finance transformation, business improvement or project delivery roles.
n
Experience supporting finance system implementations, process improvement initiatives or operating model changes.
n
Strong understanding of transactional finance processes including invoicing, reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
n
Proven ability to manage projects independently, coordinate stakeholders and deliver outcomes across multiple teams.
n
Experience working across regions and time zones, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
n
Advanced Excel and Power BI capability, with experience using data to drive insights and decision-making.
n
Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 preferred) and finance automation tools is highly regarded.
n
A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline is preferred.
n
CA/CPA qualification or progress towards qualification is desirable but not essential.
