Rockmount is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precast concrete manufacturer based in Chullora, currently growing out their steelfixing team. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity — you'll start on assignment through Rockmount, with a genuine pathway to permanent employment with our client after 6 months.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings for precast concrete panels and products
n
Cutting, bending and fixing reinforcement steel and mesh to specification
n
Placing and securing reinforcement cages into precast moulds ahead of pour
n
Working alongside the production team to keep pace with daily pour schedules
n
General steelfixing duties within a busy precast production environment
n
n
What you'll need
n
n




Minimum 2 years' steel fixing experience — precast experience highly regarded
n
Willing to work flexible shifts, generally 8–12 hours
n
Have your own full PPE
n
Physically fit with a outstanding attitude and willingness to learn
n
n
