The Opportunity
n
Are you an experienced Service Technician, Field Service Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician, or Mechanical Engineering Graduate with a background in heavy industry or industrial environments?
n If you're ready to step away from the tools and into a customer-facing technical role, this is the perfect prospect. You'll use your industry knowledge to solve customer problems, provide technical advice, and build long‐term relationships—spending approximately 80% of your time on technical support and 20% developing customer relationships and sales opportunities.

Your Responsibilities
n
n
Provide expert technical advice and troubleshooting support to customers.
n
Build strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities to grow accounts.
n
Visit customer sites across NSW (with occasional interstate travel) to provide demonstrations and technical support.
n




Attend industry trade shows and customer events.
n
Work closely with internal sales and service teams to deliver outstanding after-sales support.
n
Recommend equipment and technical solutions tailored to customer requirements.
n

About You
n
To be successful, you'll bring:
n
n
Proven experience working within heavy industry or industrial environments is essential.
n
Experience in industries such as manufacturing, mining, construction, steel, materials handling, processing, engineering, or similar industrial sectors will be highly regarded.
n
Experience as a Service Technician, Field Service Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar mechanical role.
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and fault‐finding skills.
n
A genuine desire to transition into technical sales and customer relationship management.
n
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
n
A Mechanical Engineering qualification is highly regarded but not essential.
n
Current driver's licence and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
