The Prospect
n
As an Afternoon Shift Corrugator Operator, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our corrugator equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality corrugated board that consistently meets customer specifications and production requirements.
n
Working within a collaborative and supportive team environment, you will contribute to operational performance, product quality, waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
In this role, you will:
n
n
Safely operate corrugator equipment to achieve production schedules and performance targets.
n
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimise quality, speed and output.
n
Complete quality inspections and checks to ensure products meet customer specifications and Visy standards.
n
Identify and resolve operational issues to minimise downtime and reduce waste.
n
Support preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting and machine changeovers.
n
Maintain high housekeeping standards and actively contribute to 5S initiatives.
n
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture.
n
Participate in continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing productivity, quality and operational efficiency.

About You

You are a reliable, safety-conscious and motivated manufacturing professional who takes pride in producing quality products and working as part of a team.
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.
n
A demonstrated commitment to workplace health, safety and quality.
n
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to production targets and deadlines.
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
