About the Role
n
Are you a landscaper looking to get off the tools, an experienced BDM or salesperson in the landscaping trade, or an expert DIYer with a wealth of hands-on knowledge? If you've spent years on the ground or building your own projects and you're ready for a change — one that puts your hands-on know-how to work driving sales — we want to talk to you.

At Australian Landscape Supplies (ALS), we're growing fast. We're not a slow-moving corporate office; we're a sleeves-up team that needs someone who can build excellent customer relationships, provide expert advice, and proactively manage our sales pipeline.

We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Knows the industry: Understands landscape materials and retaining walls, whether from on-site experience or mastering your own DIY projects.
n
Thrives on variety: Happy to jump from managing quotes and emails to assisting with packing in the warehouse.
n
Is proactive:



Doesn't wait for the phone to ring — loves following up leads and chasing new business.

Takes pride: Treats the showroom and warehouse like they're your own.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Product Knowledge Expert: Become an expert in our product range to provide top-tier advice to trade and DIY customers (full training provided).
n
Sales Support & Customer Service: Warmly greet and assist trade and retail customers face-to-face in our new showroom, as well as via phone and email.
n
Order & Quote Management: Efficiently process customer orders, create accurate draft orders, and put together professional quotes.
n
Pipeline & Prospecting: Proactively manage our sales pipeline, follow up on open quotes, and identify and prospect new business opportunities — growing your own sales pipeline.
n

What We're Looking For:
n
n
Background: Experience in landscaping, hardware, construction, or sales support — or a strong background in serious landscaping DIY.
n
Licence: A current Forklift (LF) licence and a valid driver's licence are highly regarded.
n
Attitude: A can-do approach — you show up, work hard, take pride in your workspace, and love hitting sales goals.
n
BDM Experience: Experience as a BDM in the landscaping industry is highly regarded but not required.
n
