The Regal Inn Tenambit is entering an exciting new chapter, and we're looking for an energetic and ambitious Restaurant & Functions Manager to help transform and grow our food, beverage and events offering.
n
This is a rare chance to step into a leadership role where you can genuinely influence the direction of a venue. Working closely with the General Manager, you'll play a key role in relaunching the restaurant and functions business, developing a high-performing team, enhancing the guest experience, and building the Regal Inn's reputation as a destination for dining, celebrations and events.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Restaurant & Functions Manager, you will lead all front-of-house operations while driving the growth and success of the venue's functions and events business.
n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
Front of House Operations
n
n
Manage the day-to-day front-of-house operation of the restaurant.
n
Complete opening and closing procedures for the restaurant.
n
Monitor reservations,



bookings and table allocations.
n
Prepare rosters in line with business requirements and approved roster templates.
n
Act as the primary point of contact for customer feedback, complaints and conflict resolution.
n

Functions & Events Management
n
n
Manage all function and event bookings from enquiry through to delivery.
n
Handle function sales enquiries and convert opportunities into bookings.
n
Effectively allocate function spaces.
n
Communicate event requirements to kitchen and bar teams.
n
Act as host for large-scale functions or allocate appropriate staff.
n
n
Leadership & Team Development
n
n
Recruit, train, mentor and develop front-of-house employees.
n
Manage staff performance and behaviour in line with staff expectations.
n
Review and update staff expectations documents with the General Manager.
n
Lead a positive, professional and accountable team culture.
