3-4 Month Contract

An opportunity exists for an experienced Health & Safety Leader to join a local government organisation on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Manager Human Resources, you will lead workplace health and safety initiatives, support injury management and workers compensation programs, and help drive a solid safety culture across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide WHS advice and support to leaders and employees.
n
Manage incident investigations, inspections, audits, and regulatory reporting.
n
Support injury management and return-to-work processes.
n
Monitor safety performance and recommend continuous improvements.
n




Deliver WHS training and awareness programs.
n
Review and develop WHS policies, procedures, and systems.
n
n
About You
n
n
Qualification in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in a WHS advisory or leadership role.
n
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, and compliance.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
n
Current Class C Driver Licence.
n
