LJ Hooker Gosford is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Property Officer to join our team of Property Managers, with support from our experienced Department Manager.
n
This role is ideally suited to an organised and motivated Property Officer who enjoys routine inspections and leasing and wants to develop their career within a supportive and professional property management team.
n
The position will be primarily focused on routine inspections and leasing, working closely with our Property Managers to ensure our properties are well maintained, tenants are well supported and vacancies are leased quickly.

About the Role
n
Working alongside our four Property Managers, your responsibilities will be focused on routine inspections and leasing.
n
Routine Inspections
n
n
Conduct routine inspections across a residential portfolio
n
Prepare detailed and accurate routine inspection reports
n
Identify maintenance, repairs and property presentation issues
n
Communicate inspection outcomes with Property Managers
n
Ensure properties are being maintained to a high standard
n
Assist Property Managers with tenancy and compliance requirements
n

Leasing
n
n
Conduct property viewings and open homes
n
Manage leasing enquiries and prospective tenants
n
Respond promptly to rental enquiries
n
Follow up prospective tenants after inspections
n
Assist with processing rental applications
n
Assist with tenant selection and leasing recommendations
n
Coordinate new tenant appointments and lease commencements
n
Assist with preparing properties for advertising and leasing
n
Work closely with the Property Management team to minimise vacancy periods
n
n
Saturday work is required as part of the leasing component of the role, with four weekdays worked each week.
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who is professional, organised and enjoys dealing with both landlords and tenants.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Minimum 2 years' property management experience
n
Experience conducting routine inspections
n
Experience or a strong interest in residential leasing
n
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills
n
Sound understanding of residential tenancy legislation and compliance
n
Experience with Property Tree or similar
n
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
n
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
Current Real Estate Licence or Assistant Agent Certificate
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Professional presentation and excellent customer service skills
n
Ability to work independently while being part of a supportive team
n
