An exciting chance is available for a dedicated Mechanic to work across our Riverina Breeder Farms, with a company ute provided.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
Diagnose, service, and repair company vehicles, including utes, trucks, and light fleet vehicles
n
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension, and steering work
n
Identify mechanical and electrical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimise vehicle downtime
n
Conduct preventative maintenance in line with service schedules and safety requirements
n
Ensure all vehicles comply with roadworthy and safety standards
n
Maintain accurate service and repair records for the vehicle fleet
n
Coordinate with farm management to prioritise vehicle repairs and servicing
n
Manage tools, parts, and workshop cleanliness
n
Respond to urgent or breakdown repairs when required
n




Required Skills (Must-haves):
n
Hold a current trade licence or qualification required to carry out any work
n
Hold a current driver's licence including heavy vehicle as required
n
Prior experience in vehicle repair
n
Hold a current forklift licence
n
CoR Level 1 TLIP001- Apply chain of responsibility, regulations and workplace procedures
n
Understanding of Bio Security protocols associated with working on breeder sites
n
Knowledge and understanding of poultry processes and operations
n
Ability to make quick and correct decisions "on the job"
n
Experience operating different types of machinery (loaders, tractors as required)
n
Ability to work alone or as part of a team
n
Self-motivated and proactive
n
