Early Childhood Educator Room Leader - Rochester

Tenure: Permanent (Full-time and Part-time positions available)
n Location: Rochester
n Remuneration: $74,****** - $78,****** pa (pro-rata) + superannuation and leave loading
n
In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating high-quality education and care programs that reflect our holistic approach. Working closely with our experienced and supportive Early Years team, you will help create a protected, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children and their families. As a Room Leader, you will also support the Centre Coordinator in the delivery of care that aligns with current legislation, centre objectives, and the service's philosophy and policies.

About the Role
n
The Early Childhood Educator Room Leader responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Provide care and education to all children in accordance with relevant frameworks and regulations.
n
Ensure the service philosophy is reflected within the program and service delivery.
n
Engage in regular, meaningful and honest communication to support and maintain authentic partnerships with children, families and Children's Services Team.
n




Provide a positive approach to guiding behaviour which builds children's confidence and self-esteem based on caring, equitable and responsive relationships.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Diploma in Children's Services and / or Bachelor of Early Childhood.
n
Demonstrated experience in early childhood service provision and knowledge of early childhood development, including the Early Years Learning Framework and Victorian Child Safe Standards.
n
HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate.
n
A valid Driver's Licence.
n
A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
n
Satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
n
Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
n
