$***** per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + superannuation

A bit about the role
n
As a Diploma Qualified Early Years Educator, you'll deliver responsive, high-quality care and education in line with Kingston's policies and frameworks.



Guided by the Education and Care Leader or Early Childhood Teacher, you'll help plan, implement, and evaluate children's learning—while also providing leadership and support to fellow educators.

In this role you will:
n
n
Supervise Children: Maintain the highest level of safety by actively engaging with children while supervising and monitoring their learning experiences, interactions, and routines at all times to ensure their well‐being
n
Build relationships: Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with children, families and other team members
n
Create Routines: Set up effective daily routines and systems
n
Develop Curriculum: Plan, carry out, and assess the children's learning activities
n
Work Together Collaborate with leaders, coworkers, families, children, and the community
n
Adhere to the requirements of the National Quality Standards and framework, Regulations and EYLF
n
Program Implementation: Assist in the implementation of high-quality children's programs that respond to individual strengths and interests of children, families, and staff.

Your Skills and Experience
n
As a passionate, caring and nurturing individual, you will have a strong passion for Early Childhood education along with the following;
n
n
Minimum Qualification: Diploma of early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
n
Clearances: Current Employee Working with Children check
n
First Aid Certification: Level 2 First Aid, including Asthma & Anaphylaxis management and CPR
n
Curriculum Knowledge: Solid understanding of the expectations of the Victorian and National Curriculum Frameworks, National Quality Standards and the current Regulations.
n
Availability to work between 6:45am - 6:15pm and 3‐5 days per week.
