Monday to Friday 6AM -2PM + Potential OT avail (Saturdays)

The Chance
n
We're looking for a skilled Operator to join our team at our Ryde transfer station.
n
This hands-on role is ideal for someone heavy machinery experience keen to contribute to essential waste operations that support the local environment. Some of the responsibilities are as below.
n
n
Operating earthmoving equipment (excavators, bulldozers, forklift)
n
Assist drivers and the public with correct load placement
n
Excavate and load dry waste (metal, wood, general rubbish and other material) to compact and cover waste
n
Safely operate vehicles and equipment in line with procedures
n
Assist with general housekeeping duties
n
Maintain a professional image and always deliver high quality customer service
n

Current Excavator and Loader ticket
n
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
n
Good mechanical aptitude and committed to safety
n
Able to work independently and as part of a team
n
Positive attitude and good communication skills
