We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a key member of our Central Scotland forestry team based in our Perth Office, in
n
the role of Assistant Forest Manager.
n
In this role you will be responsible for delivering a professional, high-quality woodland management service to our existing
n
clients together with other ongoing forestry related opportunities including woodland creation.
n
The role includes building sound client relationships, preparation of client estimates, production of reports, implementation and
n
control of work programmes and grant applications, initially in support of more senior Forest Managers.
n
About You:
n
n
Relevant forestry and academic qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
n
Strong client relationship management and team working skills.
n
Solid commercial acumen and ideally at least 1 to 2 years' management, supervisory or practical experience.
n
Experience of supervising and managing contractors.
n
Good knowledge of the UK Forestry Standard and UKWAS.
n
Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or another relevant professional body is desirable, but not
n
Full UK driving licence
n
n
