Job Description
MI Battery Engineering is an Australian-owned battery engineering, manufacturing and technology business with more than 80 years of experience. We support customers across a wide range of industries with battery, charging and power solutions. We are looking for a friendly and reliable Customer Service Officer to join our Milperra team. This role would suit someone with strong communication skills, a positive attitude and experience in customer service, administration or sales support role.

About the Role
n
You will be one of the first points of contact for customers, helping with enquiries, orders, quotes and follow-ups. You do not need to be a technical expert - we will provide training and support so you can learn our products and systems.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Answer customer enquiries by phone and email in a helpful and professional way.
n
Enter and process customer orders accurately.
n
Prepare basic quotes and follow up with customers when needed.
n
Keep customers updated on order progress and delivery information.
n
Work with the sales, purchasing and warehouse teams to help get things done.
n




Learn about our products so you can provide simple information and direct more technical questions to the right person.

About You
n
n
You enjoy helping people and are willing to learn.
n
You have experience in customer service, administration, retail, call centre, sales support or a similar role.
n
You communicate clearly and politely with customers and team members.
n
You are organised, reliable and have good attention to detail.
n
You are comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office.
n
You are happy to ask questions, learn new systems and build your product knowledge over time.
n
Experience with batteries, technical products or ERP systems is helpful, but not essential.
