Job Description
This is a hybrid role working across two venues in Montrose (2 days) and Brunswick (3 days). You will support the Venue Manager in the day-to-day operation and management of the venue, ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service, team performance and event delivery.

Key responsibilities
n
Leading and supporting the Front of House team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
n
Working hands-on on the floor, including waiting tables, serving High Tea, clearing tables and assisting customers throughout their experience
n
Undertaking bar service, including preparing and serving beverages and maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
n
Managing clients' High Tea events, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays, ensuring events run smoothly from set-up through to completion
n
Being a welcoming and visible presence on the floor and assisting with customer enquiries and any issues that arise during service
n
Maintaining the presentation, cleanliness and overall standards of the Tea House throughout service
n
Supporting the Venue Manager with staff rostering and day-to-day team management
n
Providing strong on-the-job training, coaching and skills development for current and new team members
n
Ensuring team members understand and consistently follow company procedures,
service standards and policies
n
Taking a leadership role during service and confidently directing the team when required
n
About you
n
Comfortable with working across two venues - two days at the Montrose Venue and three days at the Brunswick Venue
n
A can-do, proactive, driven and self-motivated individual who takes initiative and gets things done
n
Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
n
A confident and natural leader with a strong presence and the ability to motivate and manage a team
n
An excellent communicator who can communicate clearly and confidently with both customers and team members
n
Naturally warm, friendly and welcoming, whilst also having the confidence to uphold company policies, standards and expectations
n
Hands-on and willing to do whatever is required to ensure the venue runs smoothly
n
Confident working under pressure and able to remain calm, organised and solution-focused during busy services
n
Comfortable working weekends, with Saturday and Sunday availability required as part of a full time roster
n
Experienced in, or enthusiastic about, working in a high-volume hospitality environment
