The Opportunity
n
A large, global organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its commercial finance team on an initial 6-month contract.
n
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, this role will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing commercial finance support, analysis and insight to drive improved performance and decision-making.
n
This is a hands‐on role suited to a commercially minded finance qualified who can quickly understand a complex business, build credibility with stakeholders and add value from day one.

The Challenge
n
As Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Partnering with senior financial and non-financial stakeholders to provide commercial finance support and guidance
n
Delivering insightful analysis across financial performance, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities
n
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and planning processes, including challenging assumptions and improving forecast accuracy
n
Providing detailed P&L; analysis,



variance commentary and recommendations to support business performance
n
Translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
n
Supporting business cases, commercial initiatives and key projects across the organisation
n
Identifying opportunities to improve profitability, cost management and operational efficiency
n
Building strong relationships across the business and providing additional commercial finance support throughout the contract period
n

The Expertise
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
CA or CPA Qualified
n
Exposure to a large, complex or multi-site organisation with proven ability to partner with non-financial stakeholders
n
Previous experience within Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, FP&A; or Management Accounting
n
Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting capability
n
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand the key drivers of business performance
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to quickly understand a new business and operate effectively with limited supervision
n
Availability to commence at short notice is required
