For over a century, A.J. Bush & Sons has been doing one of the most important jobs in the Australian meat industry — turning animal by-products into high-value, sustainable commodities for domestic and export markets. It's circular-economy manufacturing at real scale, and their Beaudesert facility is where it happens.

They're now looking for a hands-on Logistics Specialist to keep raw materials and finished product moving safely, compliantly and efficiently across the operation.

What you'll do
n
Reporting to the Transport Manager, you'll sit at the centre of the site's transport function — coordinating and optimising the daily movement of raw materials, contractors and fleet.
n
Day to day that looks like:
n
n
Planning and coordinating transport to keep production fed and dispatch on time
n
Managing driver and contractor relationships, performance and compliance
n
Keeping the operation on the right side of Chain of Responsibility, NHVR, WHS and biosecurity
n




Reviewing collection points and monitoring raw material quality
n
Tracking transport data, cost and utilisation to find efficiencies
n
Coordinating fleet maintenance and defect management through MaintainX
n

What you'll bring
n
n
Experience coordinating transport, logistics or supply chain operations
n
A sound grasp of Chain of Responsibility and NHVR compliance
n
The ability to juggle multiple schedules, contractors and priorities without dropping the ball
n
Robust reporting, problem-solving and a genuine safety-first mindset
n
A current C-class licence (forklift LF a bonus); any exposure to manufacturing, rendering, agriculture or heavy industry is a real plus
n
