Job Description
Reporting to the Head of People and Safety, you will coordinate recruitment activities across our operational and corporate workforce, with a robust focus on recruiting bus drivers and other frontline transport employees. You will manage the recruitment process from vacancy through to commencement, ensuring candidates have a positive experience while vacancies are filled efficiently and in line with our workforce requirements.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment campaigns across the business.
n
Manage high-volume recruitment of bus drivers and operational employees.
n
Advertise vacancies across appropriate job boards, social media and recruitment channels.
n
Screen applications and conduct telephone/video pre-screening.
n
Coordinate interviews, assessments and pre-employment requirements.
n
Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure candidates progress efficiently through the recruitment process.
n
Liaise closely with Depot Managers, Operations Leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements.
n
Coordinate medicals, police checks, licence verification and other role-specific pre-employment checks.
n
Support the onboarding process and ensure new employees are ready to commence safely and effectively.
n
Develop and maintain talent pools for ongoing driver and operational recruitment needs.

About you
n
n
Demonstrated experience in recruitment coordination, talent acquisition or a similar role.
n
Experience recruiting in the transport, logistics, passenger transport, heavy vehicle or similarly operational industries.
n
Experience with high-volume recruitment, preferably including driver recruitment.
n
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
n
The ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
n
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to compliance.
n
Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms.
n
A professional, approachable and candidate-focused manner.
n
The confidence to work closely with operational leaders and challenge or influence when required.
