Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Architecture, the Enterprise Architect is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and governing the organisation's enterprise architecture capability to support business transformation, technology optimisation, and long-term strategic outcomes.

Acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise leaders, delivery teams, and business stakeholders, the role drives alignment between business priorities and technology investments, provides enterprise-wide architectural direction, and leads governance practices that enable effective decision-making. As the second-in-command to the Head of Architecture, the Enterprise Architect also plays a key leadership role within the Architecture function, fostering capability development, continuous improvement, and a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead enterprise architecture strategy and technology roadmaps.
n
Chair the Architecture Design Authority (ADA).
n
Guide business and technology transformation initiatives.
n
Align technology investments with strategic objectives.
n
Develop and maintain architecture standards and governance.
n
Provide architectural guidance to delivery teams.
n
Promote the value and adoption of Enterprise Architecture.
n
Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends.
n
Coach and mentor architects and key stakeholders.
n
Support and lead the Architecture team as 2IC.
n
Build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
n
Manage architecture risks, budgets, reporting, and operations.
n
Drive continuous improvement across architecture practices.
n
Collaborate with architecture specialists and engineering teams.
n

About You:
n
n
Degree qualified in IT, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
n
Extensive experience in enterprise architecture and technology strategy.
n
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and modern technology ecosystems.
n
Experience delivering within project and product-based environments.
n
Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
n
Robust understanding of architecture governance and frameworks.
n
Experience leading transformation and business change initiatives.
n
Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and developing others.
n
Commercially astute with sound financial and risk management knowledge.
n
Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
n
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
n
Committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
n
