What you'll be doing
n
n
Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care (qualified applications only), meal preparation, and household tasks and transportation - appointments and shopping
n




Certificate III qualification is required for personal care duties
n
Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is preferred but not essential for all applicants
n
Providing emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in social and recreational activities
n
Monitoring clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns to the relevant parties
n
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
n
Collaborating with the broader care team to coordinate and deliver integrated support
n
n
What we're looking for

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
n
A dependable and responsible attitude towards fulfilling your duties.
n
A caring, empathetic and patient approach when working with vulnerable clients
n
Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required
n
Minimum availability of ***** hours per week is expected
n
A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle to travel between client homes
n
A commitment to upholding the values and principles of the aged and disability care sectors
n
Police check is required for this role
n
Minimum of 3-6 months experience in a support worker or similar role is required
