Job Description
Senior Renal Social Worker, Level 4
n
The Senior Renal Social Worker Level 4 is a vital member of both the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) Renal Service and the broader multidisciplinary healthcare team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based social work services to patients and clients across inpatient and outpatient settings. Working with people living with late-stage chronic kidney disease, this role provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment, advocacy, information and education, referral to community supports, and emotional and practical support for patients, families and carers through a client-centred approach.

Remuneration: $131,****** - $134,****** per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

Our Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Social Work with eligibility for full membership with AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers).
n
Advanced clinical skills, knowledge, and experience in delivery of high-quality evidence based Social Work in the field of healthcare and chronic disease.
n
Experience in leadership within a multidisciplinary team setting and ability to provide skilled supervision to local and district allied health staff/students.
n
Excellence in communication skills, negotiation, decision making, advocacy, and the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
n
Clinical inpatient experience will be highly regarded
