We're partnering with a major Australian enterprise to find a hands-on Cloud Engineer to join its Cloud Operations team and help operate, automate and continuously improve a large Microsoft Azure setting.
n
This isn't a purely BAU or ticket-driven CloudOps role. You'll work across day-to-day cloud operations alongside automation, security, observability, FinOps and project initiatives, with increasing exposure to AI-assisted operations and AIOps.
n
The Opportunity You'll join an established Cloud Operations function responsible for the reliability, security and ongoing improvement of Azure services across production and non-production environments.

You'll also support project and product teams to ensure new cloud workloads are secure, observable, resilient and operationally ready before going live.
n What We're Looking For You'll ideally have 3+ years' experience across Cloud Engineering, Cloud Operations, Infrastructure, DevOps or a similar hands-on environment.
n
We're particularly interested in experience across:
n

Strong Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services
n
Terraform,



Bicep or other Infrastructure as Code tooling
n
PowerShell and infrastructure automation
n
Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or CI/CD pipelines
n
Azure networking, identity, security and monitoring
n
Kubernetes / AKS exposure
n
Azure Monitor, Log Analytics or Application Insights
n
Cloud security, SRE or FinOps practices
n
n
You don't need to tick every box. More important is a strong Azure foundation, an automation mindset and the ability to learn and adapt as the environment continues to evolve.
