Location: Pure Dentistry, Upper Mount Gravatt, Brisbane Southside (in the Village shopping centre) - with secure staff parking on site.

About Pure Dentistry:

We're a QIP-accredited, multi-dentist private clinic caring for everyone from toddlers at their first check-up to grandparents. You'll see the full breadth of modern dentistry here - general, children's, emergency, sedation and beyond - which means you'll learn more in your first year with us than most juniors see in three. And yes, the tech is genuinely fun: AI-assisted clinical notes, DiagnoCam diagnostics, 3D X-rays and the EMS Airflow system are part of your everyday learning environment, not just pictures in your textbook.

The role:
n
You'll join us on full-time hours (38 per week) as a trainee dental assistant while you finish your studies. Our clinic runs seven days - weekdays, 8 am to 9 pm; weekends, 8 am to 5 pm - so we'll build a roster with you that works around your course commitments (lectures, pracs, exam weeks - we've seen them all).

From day one, you will:

Work chairside with our dentists and Oral Health Therapist,



taking on more as your skills grow.
n
Learn and apply infection control and instrument sterilisation in line with our exacting standards.
n
Set up and turn over treatment rooms for a wide variety of procedures.
n
Help every patient - including the nervous ones and the little ones - feel welcome and at ease. You'll be the friendly face they remember.
n
Take part in internal and external training organised by Pure Dentistry for your development.

What we offer:
n
$36 per hour + super on full-time hours (38 per week). (This rate is for Cert III, negotiable for Cert IV)

Up to $3,000 in completion bonuses - $1,000 when you finish your Cert III and $2,000 when you finish your Cert IV (each paid once you've also completed probation with us).

What we're looking for:
n
Currently enrolled in a Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting.
n
An Australian citizen or permanent resident - we're unable to consider visa holders for this role.
n
A current driver's licence and your own car are essential.
n
Able to commit to 38 hours per week.
n
Caring, reliable, and genuinely eager to learn - prior experience is not required.
