Job Description
MPH Agriculture is an entrepreneurial agriculture enterprise operating a 6,000Ha Irrigated and Dryland Cropping and Livestock production business located near Werribee / Little River, near the lifestyle experiences of Melbourne and Geelong. With a can-do attitude and a willingness to get your hands dirty, the successful applicant will have experience of being able to operate a range of machinery including: Articulated Tractors, FWA Tractors, Telehandlers, Trucks, Forklifts and Harvesters. The role involves weed and disease control of multiple crops.

Key responsibilities
n
Plant operation including tractor operations, harvesting, sowing, spray operations
n
Seeding using auto steer & rate controllers
n
Operation of earth moving plant (dependent upon High Risk / Industry tickets held)
n
Daily maintenance of plant, including greasing, hot and cold checks
n
Servicing of machinery as required
n
Farm maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities
n
General farm duties as required
n
Work under routine supervision either individually or in a team setting
n
Exercise discretion within your level of skill and training and be accountable for the quality of your own work subject to routine supervision
n
About you
n
Must possess a current driver's license
n
Chemical Users Certificate
n
Experience with large articulated tractors (300+ horsepower)
n
Experience with Horward Bagshaw air seeders
n
Experience with GreenStar or CASE auto-steer & mapping systems
n
Truck licence (HR or HC)
n
Ability to perform maintenance tasks on equipment
n
Experience boom sprays
n
Qualifications Required
n
Must possess a current Drivers licence
n
Chemical User Certificate
n
Full-time permanent position subject to successful completion of a probation period
n
