We're partnering with a rapidly scaling, VC-backed technology company building AI-powered infrastructure used by some of the world's largest retailers and enterprise organisations.

Their platform powers millions of customer transactions every month, (B2B) through intelligent software and automation.

As part of their continued growth across APAC, they are seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work directly with customers, solve complex operational challenges and help shape the future direction of the product.
n
This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of software engineering, customer engagement, product development and technical leadership.
n
The Role
n
As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will partner directly with enterprise customers to understand complex business problems and rapidly transform requirements into scalable software solutions.
n
You will operate across product, engineering and customer teams, building prototypes, delivering production systems and influencing the evolution of the platform.
n
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ambiguity, thrives in customer-facing environments and loves taking ideas from concept through to deployment.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Work directly with enterprise customers to understand business and operational challenges
n
Gather, challenge and refine customer requirements
n
Design, build and deploy scalable software solutions
n
Develop prototypes, proof-of-concepts and MVPs to validate ideas quickly
n
Translate customer needs into long-term product capabilities
n
Partner closely with Product,



Engineering and AI teams
n
Build backend services, APIs and cloud-native applications
n
Support customer implementations and high-impact technical initiatives
n
Influence product direction through direct customer engagement and feedback
n
Act as a trusted technical advisor to both customers and internal stakeholders
n
n
About You
n
n
8+ years commercial software engineering experience
n
Experience taking products, features or customer solutions from 0 to 1
n
Experience working directly with customers, users or external stakeholders
n
Strong requirements gathering and problem-solving capability
n
Experience building prototypes, MVPs and production-ready software
n
Robust software engineering skills using:
n
Python
n
TypeScript
n
AWS
n
Experience building scalable APIs, backend services and distributed systems
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
n
n
Highly Desirable
n

Forward Deployed Engineering experience
n
Product Engineering experience
n
Startup or scale-up background
n
Experience deploying AI-enabled or data-driven software products
