Nagambie, Victoria Full Time | Poultry Operations

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Farm Manager to join our poultry operations team in Nagambie. Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily farm operations, leading team members, and maintaining high standards of bird welfare, biosecurity, safety, and production performance.
n

About the role

Working closely with the Farm Manager, you will help ensure the farm operates safely, efficiently,



and in line with company standards. Responsibilities include:

Support daily poultry production activities
n
Monitor flock health, welfare and production performance
n
Coordinate daily farm activities and supervise team members
n
Maintain biosecurity, animal welfare and safety standards
n
Maintain production and compliance records
n
Assist with farm maintenance, equipment management and continuous improvement initiatives
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Experience in poultry, livestock, agriculture, farming, or a related environment
n
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
n
Strong communication and organisational skills
n
Commitment to animal welfare and workplace safety
n
Sound computer and record-keeping skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
